OpenILL
The OpenILL
project is developing an open source, web-based
system for managing inter-library loans.
Bronze Spear developed
Java software to encode and decode ASN.1
messages in the ISO-10161
format -- the standard protocol for communications
between ILL systems.
We used XML and
WDDX to integrate the Java code with the rest of the
OpenILL application, which was developed in ColdFusion.
OpenILL also called
on Bronze Spear's software analysis and architecture
expertise to help define a viable data model and messaging
architecture.
